"The action I am taking is no more than a radical measure to hasten the explosion of truth and justice. I have but one passion: to enlighten those who have been kept in the dark, in the name of humanity which has suffered so much and is entitled to happiness. My fiery protest is simply the cry of my very soul. Let them dare, then, to bring me before a court of law and let the enquiry take place in broad daylight!" - Emile Zola, J'accuse! (1898) -

Welcome To July 5th, 2008 In The USA … Let The Real Fireworks begin. I Assure The Gloves Are Coming Off As You Read This.

In Tribute To Those Who Have Been Faithful To Their Oath.

Let me take this opportunity to express my genuine thanks to everyone who responded with compliments to the post linked below, and to Bob Parry for his article title that facilitated a long held post concept…because they are really down the “Rabbit Hole and quite Mad and Snark Liars”. I am flattered and stand humbled before the masses. Thank You!

Chapter I: “Down the Rabbit-Hole” : The Only Problem With This Analogy Is That The Bush Administration Is Neither Fiction Nor A Dream;

It Is A Real Nightmare.

I Am Quite Mad You Know!

Bush's 'Wonderland' Logic By Robert Parry July 2, 2008 : The first Guantanamo Bay “enemy combatant” review case to go before a federal appeals court has offered a peek down the rabbit hole of capricious irrationality that underlies George W. Bush’s “war on terror.”

The rabbit-hole analogy follows a three-judge panel comparing the Bush administration’s assertion of “evidence” to the writings of Lewis Carroll, the author of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.

The judges from the U.S. Court of Appeal in the District of Columbia cited one of Carroll’s poems, “The Hunting of the Snark,” in which a character declares, “I have said it thrice; What I tell you three times is true.”

“Lewis Carroll notwithstanding, the fact that the government has ‘said it thrice' does not make an allegation true,” the court said.

In this case, the three-time repetition of unsupported evidence was the basis for one of Bush’s military tribunals to label Huzaifa Parhat an “enemy combatant” – and lock him up for six years at the U.S. naval base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Although the evidence behind the claims was not spelled out in any of the documents, Bush's lawyers asserted that the fact that the allegations appeared in three separate government documents was proof of reliability.

In their sharply worded ruling, the judges likened the administration's logic to the writing of Carroll, the 19th Century English author whose stories famously pilloried up-is-down reasoning.

In its decision, the court added that Mr. Parhat provided “credible” evidence to suggest that the source behind much of the intelligence was in fact the Chinese government. However, the portion of the court decision describing that evidence has been redacted.

The court saved its harshest rebuttal for the government's arguments as to why the information in its intelligence documents is true. In one argument, the government suggests that the information must be reliable because it is contained in at least three different documents, a position the court likened to a line from Lewis Carroll's nonsense poem The Hunting of the Snark: “I have said it thrice: What I tell you three times is true.”

“Lewis Carroll notwithstanding, the fact that the government has ‘said it thrice' does not make an allegation true,” the court said.

The government also insisted that the intelligence in the documents must be true because the State and Defense Departments would not have put the information into the documents if it were not true, an argument the court said “comes perilously close to suggesting that whatever the government says must be treated as true, thus rendering superfluous both the role of the Tribunal and the role that Congress assigned to this court.”

So Let’s carry this a little further down the Rabbit Hole:

Liars, Jack Asses, Rounding Up The Democrats

And Jumping Into The Abyss!

But I must Remind You that there is another Abyss ahead and folks are walking into it with blinders on believing it can’t happen. It can and is becoming more likely with every passing day as peaceful resistance and protest yield nothing and the state of the nation deteriorates daily.

Four Crosses and : Impeachment Is about Bush, Cheney, War Crimes, A Nation Living In Fear, Iran Looming as a Nuclear Catastrophe, The millions killed and displaced, a nation disgraced, a Democracy Consigned To The Dust Bin of History and The City Of Denver living under the uncertain curtain of the end of the trail of frustration in riots, in steel, blood and fire in her streets! Wake Up America…Please!

“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.”
-John Fitzgerald Kennedy

And Here Is One!

The Four Crosses Can Come Again
